Helping Professionals Build Meaningful and Aligned Careers

Career counselling for professionals seeking greater clarity, fulfillment, and alignment in their careers.

Many of the people I work with appear successful on paper yet feel stuck, unfulfilled, disconnected from their work, or uncertain about what comes next.

My role is not to tell you what career you should pursue. Rather, it is to help you better understand yourself so that you can make informed career decisions that reflect your values, strengths, needs, and goals.

Through a structured, values-based approach, I help clients better understand themselves so they can make informed career decisions that align with who they are, what they need, and the life they want to build.

Guided by the Career Alignment Framework™

This work is guided by the Career Alignment Framework™, a methodology designed to help clients move from uncertainty to clarity through self-understanding, exploration, and action.

Meet Lisa

Career Counsellor and Founder

My passion for career counselling is rooted in a simple belief: work plays a significant role in our overall well-being.

When our work feels meaningful, aligned, and sustainable, it can positively impact our confidence, energy, relationships, and quality of life. When it doesn't, the effects often extend far beyond the workplace.

Like many of my clients, there was a time when I felt deeply unfulfilled in my own work. While I was able to find support for the emotional aspects of that experience, I struggled to find guidance that helped me answer questions such as:

  • What do I actually want?

  • What do I need in order to thrive professionally?

  • What is preventing me from moving toward the life and career I envision for myself?

That experience ultimately inspired the development of the Career Alignment Framework™ and continues to shape the way I support clients today.

My goal is not simply to help people choose a career path, but to help them better understand themselves so they can build work and lives that feel more aligned, meaningful, and sustainable.

Professional Experience

Over the course of my career, I have worked in educational, community, rehabilitation, and private practice settings, supporting individuals through career, educational, and life transitions.

My experience includes supporting:

  • Youth and adults

  • Individuals navigating rehabilitation and mental health challenges

  • Individuals affected by mass layoffs

  • Indigenous communities

  • Newcomers to Canada

These experiences have reinforced my belief that meaningful career development cannot be separated from a person’s broader life context, well-being, and sense of purpose.

Who I Work Best With

I primarily work with mid-career professionals who appear successful on paper but feel unfulfilled, disconnected from their work, or uncertain about their next chapter.

Many are:

  • Questioning their career direction

  • Seeking greater meaning in their work

  • Recovering from burnout

  • Considering a career change

  • Feeling stuck despite having achieved professional success

  • Struggling to understand why a role that once felt right no longer aligns

They often know that something needs to change, but they aren't yet sure what that change looks like—or how to move forward with confidence.

While every client’s situation is unique, they often share a common goal: creating a career that feels more aligned with who they are and the life they want to build.

The Career Alignment Framework™

Many people assume career clarity comes from finding the "perfect career."

In reality, meaningful career decisions emerge from a deeper understanding of who you are, what you need, and how those needs translate into your work and life.

The Career Alignment Framework™ is designed to help clients move from uncertainty to clarity through a structured process of self-understanding, exploration, and action.

What It's Like to Work With Me

Clients often describe my approach as thoughtful, supportive, and practical. While career development is often approached as a purely rational process, I believe meaningful career decisions require both reflection and action.

Too much reflection can leave us stuck in our heads. Too much action can lead us toward decisions that aren't truly aligned.

My role is to help you slow down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface while also providing the structure, guidance, and accountability needed to move forward.

Together, we'll explore not only what you want to do, but also what may be preventing you from moving toward it.

Ready to Get Started?

Whether you're considering a career change, questioning your direction, recovering from burnout, or seeking greater fulfillment in your work, I'd be happy to help.
